aragorn: had the misguided idea that making a group chat would be a convenient way to organize anything, most of his messages are him copy-pasting a single question over and over as everyone else goes to great lengths to ignore it

boromir: waits until aragorn asks a question or tries to get ppl together to do something and then starts a new conversation about something more interesting and derails the chat for like forty five minutes

legolas: only sends selfies and talks shit. usually talking shit about someone else in the chat (mostly gimli) because he lives for drama

gimli: talks shit about legolas. also sends really weird youtube videos that are the result of three hour long rabbit holes and are things like “how to replace running boards on a ford explorer” 

gandalf: lurks just so that everyone knows they’ve been left on read. if someone @’s him directly he just says “keep my name out of your mouth bitch” and then goes silent again

frodo: usually him sending his location to the gc and asking for someone to pick him up because he goes for a lot of walks and forgets to pay attention to where he’s going and he doesn’t know how the maps app works

merry: “anyone in this thread smoke weed”

sam: the only one who actually responds to aragorn and answers questions directly without being an asshole. sends good morning texts every morning without fail 

pippin: a shit ton of emoticons. nobody can remember the last time he actually used words to respond to anything. also elf practice memes even though those haven’t been relevant for like 3 years just because legolas gets pissed off
