All of Nora’s extra content makes Aaron’s character just so much better.

Like he was just kinda a grumpy asshole throughout the three books.

-Then you get to see all he wants to accomplish in life, and how he wanted to do it all on his own terms.

•He didn’t want to sign with the Foxes, because he was worried about having that stigma follow him for the rest of his life. He knew he wanted to go to medical school, and because they are so competetive any thing that could be construde as negative will keep you out.

-Then he has his deal with Andrew.

•Their deal through highschool to only stick with each other, which they carry over to college. Honestly highschool is shitty for most people, but for two 5ft blonde emotionally scared kids it was probably the worst. Aaron probably didn’t think that college would be much different.

•Then he meets this super intelligent happy-go-lucky cheerleader and she likes him. So he pursues this relationship with her to make himself happy, even though it betrays his deal with Andrew. Of course even though its been 2-3 years he doesn’t really know Andrew. Doesn’t know his past and how nobody ever kept their promises to him, and how much that means to Andrew.

•He does try to keep the relationship on the down low so that he isn’t openly betraying his brother. I’m guessing there had to be attempts made by Aaron to talk to Andrew about getting out of their deal, which Andrew wouldn’t listen to.

•Aaron had no idea what he was signing up for with the isolationist deal with Andrew, and when he realized he wanted nore his brother wouldn’t hear him out. It’s what caused their problems throughout the books.

-Then we have the extra content where he marries Katelyn, goes to med school, heals his relationship with his brother, gets a dog and a lot of fish, has other friends, and even realizes some of his past negativeness was wrong.

I just have a lot of feelings about Aaron. He came from a really shitty situation, but was determined to make the best out of his life. On his own terms.
